20 Rescued From Katsina Bandits

Katsina state government has received 20 kidnap victims including a  newborn baby and her mother after spending about five months with the abductors.
Secretary to the state government, Mustapha Inuwa, who spoke to newsmen, explained that the abductees which include five nursing mothers and children aged between four and ten years escaped following airstrikes on the abductors’ camp.

Inuwa, however, directed the medical team from the state primary healthcare service to examine their conditions and ensure their safe return to their families, while also instructing the permanent secretary, cabinet, and security to provide financial support and give them food items.
