Buhari Pledges 50 Percent Increase In Education Budget In Two Years.

President Muhammadu Buhari has pledged to increase the budget for the education sector by 50 percent over the next two years.
Buhari, who spoke during an interview with newsmen at the ongoing summit in London, united kingdom, promised that budgetary allocation to the sector will witness a progressive increase to about 100 percent again in the next four years.

Recall that Buhari departed Nigeria for the United Kingdom on Monday to participate in the summit to increase the education budget which was co-hosted by the prime minister of the united kingdom, Boris Johnson, and the president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta.
