Bayelsa Inaugurates Committee To Access $114M World Bank COPREP Grant

Bayelsa government has inaugurated the state project steering committee to facilitate part of the 114.28 million dollars covid-19  preparedness and response project fund from the world bank.
The fund has already been earmark for states in the federation by the federal government through the international bank.

The State Commissioner For Health, Doctor Pabara Newton Igwele, while  inaugurating the committee thanks the state covid-19 task force and emergency operations centre for their relentless efforts in combating the first and second waves of the pandemic in the state, adding that the Bayelsa government will double its effort to ensure that the new delta variant does not come into the state.
