Police, FRSC Tell Nigerians To Stop Offering Them Bribes

Police and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have urged Nigerians to stop offering bribes to their officers.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Olaolu Adegbite, of the force intelligence Bureau, and a Senior Road Official, Ntukidem Godwin, who stated this at a one-day virtual stakeholder dialogue on ways to curb corruption in the country urged the public to report any officer who demands a bribe to its office.
Nigerians who comply with traffic rules, according to them do not have a reason to offer a bribe to road safety officers, adding that some members of the public who make reports hardly present evidence,  which makes it difficult to sanction erring officers.
