Federal Government Engages 200 Corps Members As Enumerators Of School Feeding Programme In Bauchi

The federal government through the ministry of humanitarian affairs,  disaster management, and social development have deployed first relief materials to victims of the Taraba flood which occurred on Saturday,  following a heavy downpour.
The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs,  Sadiya Farouq, the relief items deployed through the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)  and State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) include mattresses,  blankets, and food items, while assuring that more relief items will be deployed to the state as soon as the assessment is concluded.

Recall that over three hundred houses including places of worship,  business centres, vehicles and schools were reportedly submerged in flood.
