Ogun Drivers Protest Over Hike In Fuel Price

Association Of Taxi Drivers In Ogun State, Abeokuta chapter has protested over the increment in the price of  Premium Motor Spirit (PMSS) also known as petrol  from 148 to 162 as announced by the Petroleum Product Marketing Company (PPMC).

Speaking on behalf of the taxi drivers, Comrade Adesina Adebankole disclosed this to Family FM Reporter, Segun Omotanbaje, noting that the the increment will directly result in more hardship on  the people  as  the country is  currently struggling to survive under the burden of high cost of living and low purchasing power occasioned by the prevailing economic challenges.

The Association further urged the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun to come up with strategies that will lead to a decrease of pump price rather than an increase in the cost of domestic fuel.
