Ogun Govt. May Relaunch Job Portal On Thursday.

There are indications that the Ogun state job portal “www.iseya.ng/public/ ” will be launched on Thursday, August 15.

Family FM Bose Akintunde reports that Governor Dapo Abiodun disclosed this on Monday at his Iperu – Remo residence when he received the league of Imams and Alfas in Remoland, stating that the job portal would provide jobs for the teeming unemployed youths in the state so as to get them positively engaged and to further eradicate criminal acts and tendencies in the state following the recent spate of crime.

It would be recalled that on July 10, 2019 the state government announced the opening of the job portal for unemployed graduates in the state with a view to providing them jobs suitable for their trade and academic qualifications, but few hours after the announcement of the job portal, the portal crashed due to the thousands of unemployed youths who scrambled to log onto it.

But the state government, through the chief press secretary to the Governor Mr. Kunle Somorin, explained that the government is aware of the technical issues and is working to resolve it.
